Simplified Soldiers 简化士兵
这些文件修改了每个阵营的部队。

These files modify the troops of each faction.
To install this modification, is quite simple.
Copy party_templates and troops, then paste them into the desired module folder.
Current Version: Mercenaries are now more fitting, I think. Most faction troops are now a higher level, to balance them a bit. Some other minor chnges.
Version 1.1: I slightly modified the equipment of some troops, especially the Vaegirs, and added a Light cavalry unit to the Vaegir Troop tree(Upgrades from Strelec). I guess you could call it the Rus update.
These files should be completely compatible with both Pre-Battle Orders & Deployment, and Diplomacy, as well as native.
The soldiers of each faction have been fundamentally changed to be simpler, more useful, and sometimes tougher.
When recruiting from villages, you will get the equivalent of a native second tier troop, instead of a complete peasant.
For example: If you recruit from a Swadian village, you will recruit a 'Swadian Levy.' This soldier has the stats
of the Native Swadian Militia, with a few tweaks.
He will have a hunting crossbow for sure, as well as slightly higher proficiency and skills, solidifying his usefulness.
